What do you sell?
We are a large independent bathroom retailer, established in 1981, selling a huge variety of bathroom and showering products, from budget to top of the range branded bathrooms. We display and sell both modern and traditional bathroom suites, and with over 100 displays set across three sprawling floors, we believe that we’ll have the perfect bathroom for you.
Where are you located?
You’ll find us on Stephenson Road, Churchfield Ind Est, Salisbury and 16 High Street, Lyndhurst, Southampton.
What times are you open?
We open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. We rest on Sundays.
What brands do you sell?
We are suppliers of a very large range of the top bathroom brands, as well as our own ranges that offer our usual focus on quality, style and value-for-money. Some of the well-known brands we supply are: Villeroy & Boch, Daryl, Hansgrohe, Jacuzzi, Matki, Simpsons, Sottini, Vado, Bisque, Crosswater, Dansani, Decotec, Deva, Imperial, Impey, Keuco, Abacus, No Code, Perrin & Rowe, TC Bathrooms, Pura, RAK Ceramics, Roper Rhodes, Saneux, Smedbo, Warmup and many more.
Can you send me a brochure?
We certainly can. We have our own The Bathroom Store brochure that brings together all our own ranges and our favourite products from various brands. Many of the items featured in this brochure are on display for you to see. After all, first and foremost we are a showroom, and we’d like you to come and see our displays for yourself, as we believe this tells you so much more than a book or picture ever can.
What kind of discount do you give?
We always offer a competitive discount off the RRP. The actual amount depends on the brand and product in question. We regularly check the internet and local showrooms to make sure our prices are consistently low and fair.
Do you do trade discount?
The Bathroom Store is first and foremost a showroom for the retail customer. We don’t inflate our prices just so we can offer discounts to some people and not to others. Our prices are always as low as possible. As an incentive for our trade customers, we offer a rebate scheme. Please get in touch with us to find out more.
If you are a developer, or a hotelier and want to talk to us about discounts for bulk orders then we’ll be happy to help.
Do you price match?
With over 10 years in the business we’ve built up great deals with our suppliers. We’re confident that our prices are consistently competitive. However, if you do manage to find the same item cheaper elsewhere, get in touch with us and we’ll have a look and see if we can match it. Equally, if you have a quote for a bathroom from somewhere else, speak to us and we’ll see if we can meet and exceed your bathroom requirements for the same money or less.
Will I be able to get a cheap bathroom from you?
Absolutely. We have complete bathroom suites, including taps and wastes, from £269.99. We also have plenty of complete suites under £1000. With over 100 displays, we cater for all budgets.
How long will it take for my bathroom to arrive?
We keep over £500,000 of stock in our warehouse in Salisbury. For items that we don’t hold in stock, the lead time depends on the product. Most to-order items take around 7-10 days to arrive with us.
Do you keep your bathrooms in stock?
We keep a considerable amount of stock at our local warehouse. We can help advise you on items that are available for immediate collection should you need it. Items that need ordering take around 7-10 days, although some can be sooner, and some, such as fitted furniture, may take a little longer. We strongly recommend that you do not book your fitter until you are in possession of your bathroom suite, and have checked it over with our warehouse/delivery team to ensure you are happy with it. We cannot be held responsible for costs incurred by delays arising from having to re-order damaged items.
I need to return or exchange an item? What should I do?
Give us a ring on 01722 328 777, or pop in and see us. Bear in mind that if we have ordered an items especially for you, manufacturers usually charge a restocking fee of up to 30% if you choose to return it.
We cannot take back fitted furniture due to its individualistic nature. Double/triple check your measurements if necessary. We can only go by the info you give us.
We cannot take back tiles that have been over-ordered, so please make your calculations carefully, and allow for 10% wastage.
We cannot take back any shower valves or taps that have been fitted if you find they are unsuitable for your water pressure. We cannot take responsibility for your water system, only advise the recommended pressures of our taps.
Please note that fitting a product is an acceptance of quality. No manufacturer, or ourselves, will pay for re-fitting charges. Make sure you are happy with your items before fitting it, or throwing away boxes etc. We are here to help and advise, but remember that it is ultimately your responsibility. If in doubt, don’t fit it.
Do your bathrooms come with a guarantee?
All our products come with a guarantee from the manufacturer’s, with the exception of clearance ex-display, which is sold as seen. The length of the guarantee depends on the manufacturer and the product. In many cases you are also required to register your purchase with the manufacturer to activate your guarantee. Our staff will be happy to advise if you have questions.
I have a problem with my product. What should I do?
All manufacturers have their own technical helpline which should offer the most effective solution to any problem you may have. We are happy to supply you with these numbers should you need it. Alternatively, we pride ourselves on our after-sales service so give us a call and we’ll be happy to help or advise the best course of action.
